Rich, tender, and impossibly buttery — these Garlic Butter Steak Bites are the ultimate quick indulgence. Bite-size pieces of steak get a hard sear, then get tossed in foaming garlic butter until every piece glistens.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season: Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear: Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites in a single layer 2–3 minutes, turning once, until browned on all sides. Work in batches; transfer to a plate.
- Garlic butter: Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter, add garlic and thyme; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss and serve: Return steak bites to the pan, toss in garlic butter for 1 minute, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.
Pro tip: Don’t overcrowd — crowded steak steams instead of sears. Two batches gives you that perfect crust on every bite.
