Rich, savory, and loaded with flavor — these Creamy Garlic Shrimp Stuffed Shells are comfort food at its finest. Jumbo pasta shells get stuffed with juicy shrimp and baked in a creamy garlic sauce until bubbly and golden.
Ingredients
- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for topping
- 1 egg
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook shells: Boil shells until just al dente; drain and cool slightly. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make filling: Sauté shrimp in 1 tbsp butter 2–3 minutes until pink. Mix with ricotta, Parmesan, egg, half the garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Make sauce: In the same pan, melt remaining butter, add garlic and Italian seasoning, then pour in cream. Simmer 3 minutes; spread half in a baking dish.
- Stuff and bake: Fill each shell with the shrimp mixture, arrange in the dish, top with remaining sauce and Parmesan. Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with parsley.
Pro tip: Don’t overcook the shells initially — they’ll finish in the oven. Slightly firm shells hold their shape better for stuffing.
