As seen in our latest Instagram reel

Tangy, crunchy, garlicky, and packing a fiery kick — these Spicy Garlic Marinated Jalapeño Pickle Rings bring serious flavor to every bite. Fresh jalapeño rings soak in a zesty garlic brine loaded with a bold blend of spices, striking the perfect balance of heat, tang, and crunch. As seen in our latest Instagram reel from @homecookingbymadison, they’re made for piling onto burgers, tacos, and sandwiches — or snacking straight from the jar.

Why you’ll love them

  • Tangy, crunchy, garlicky, and fiery — serious flavor in every bite.
  • Better than store-bought, with just minutes of hands-on work.
  • The ultimate topper for burgers, tacos, sandwiches, and nachos.
  • Keeps for a month in the fridge — if they last that long.

Ingredients

  • 8–10 fresh jalapeños, sliced into 1/4-inch rings
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds

Instructions

  1. Pack the jalapeño rings and sliced garlic tightly into a clean 1-pint jar.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, water, salt, sugar, red pepper flakes, peppercorns, mustard seeds, and celery seeds. Bring to a boil, stirring until the salt and sugar dissolve.
  3. Pour the hot brine over the jalapeños, making sure they are fully submerged, and tap out any air bubbles.
  4. Let cool to room temperature, then seal and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before eating for the best flavor.
  5. Store refrigerated for up to 1 month. Pile onto burgers, tacos, and sandwiches — or snack straight from the jar.

Tips

  • Wear gloves when slicing jalapeños — the oils can irritate skin.
  • For extra heat, leave the seeds in; for milder rings, scrape them out first.
  • The longer they sit, the better they get — give them the full 24 hours if you can.
