Why you’ll love them
- Ready in about 25 minutes with simple store-bought dough
- Gooey cheese pull in every single bite
- Kid-approved, party-approved, freezer-friendly
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce, plus marinara for dipping
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of flaky salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the pizza dough into a rough 12-inch square and cut into 24 equal pieces.
- Place a pinch of mozzarella and 2–3 mini pepperonis in the center of each piece.
- Gather the corners up and pinch tightly to seal into balls. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each ball with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and flaky salt.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until deep golden brown and the cheese is melty.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips
- Seal the dough tightly so the cheese stays inside while baking.
- Don’t overfill — a little cheese and a few pepperonis per bite is plenty.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–4 minutes to bring back the crisp.
