These garlic butter lobster tail bites broke our comments on @huritastyrecipes — sweet, tender chunks of lobster tail seared in foaming garlic butter with a squeeze of lemon. Pure luxury, ready in 15 minutes.

Why you’ll love it

  • Steakhouse-level indulgence at home
  • 15 minutes, one pan, minimal cleanup
  • Perfect for date night or holiday appetizers

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails (about 1 1/2 lbs total), thawed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, to serve

Instructions

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut the lobster shells lengthwise and pull the meat out; cut into 1 1/2-inch bites. Pat very dry.
  2. Toss the lobster bites with olive oil, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
  4. Add the lobster bites in a single layer and sear 2 minutes without moving.
  5. Flip, add the garlic, and cook 1–2 minutes more until opaque and just cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in the lemon juice, and shower with chives.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and the pan butter spooned over.

Tips

  • Buy cold-water lobster tails for the sweetest meat.
  • Pull the lobster the second it’s opaque — overcooked lobster turns tough fast.
  • Serve over toasted brioche or creamy mashed potatoes to catch every drop of butter.
