Ultimate Glazed Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin

As seen in our latest Instagram reel

Juicy pork tenderloin seared until golden and coated in a sticky honey-garlic glaze — sweet, savory, and bursting with flavor in every bite. This is the weeknight showstopper from @osamashealthyrecipes that had everyone commenting PORK for the recipe. Serve it with roasted potatoes or steamed vegetables and watch it disappear.

Why you’ll love them

  • The sticky honey-garlic glaze caramelizes right on the meat — no separate sauce pan needed.
  • A proper high-protein dinner: roughly 40g of protein per serving from lean pork tenderloin.
  • One-pan method: sear on the stove, finish in the oven, rest, slice, done.
  • Leftover slices are even better the next day in wraps or over a big salad.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb (680 g) pork tenderloin
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prep. Pat the tenderloin dry, trim off the silver skin, and season all over with the salt and pepper.
  2. Sear. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the tenderloin 2–3 minutes per side until deep golden.
  3. Glaze. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and ginger together. Pour into the skillet, add the butter, and simmer 1–2 minutes until it coats a spoon.
  4. Roast. Transfer the skillet to a 400°F (200°C) oven. Roast 12–15 minutes, basting once with the glaze, until the internal temperature reads 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest & slice. Rest 5 minutes, slice into medallions, and spoon the extra pan glaze over the top.

Tips

  • Don’t skip the rest — it lets the juices redistribute so every slice stays moist.
  • Use a meat thermometer: 145°F plus a short rest means juicy, never dry.
  • Leftover glaze keeps in the fridge for 5 days — incredible drizzled over roasted vegetables.
